Acting for Camera

Our screen acting training mirrors the structure and standards of real film and television production. Students progress through modules covering on-camera technique, character development, audition skills, and on-set professionalism.
They learn to analyse scripts, take direction, and adapt their performance for different styles of screen work — developing confidence, focus, and authenticity in front of the camera.
Each term builds towards filmed projects that showcase their progress and talent on the big screen.

Live Feed and Showcase

Every screen class is filmed with our 4K broadcast-quality Blackmagic camera, giving students the chance to see their performances exactly as they appear on screen.
With a live feed visible during lessons, tutors provide instant, on-camera feedback — helping students refine their delivery and technique in real time.
Our in-house production team also edits selected footage into polished short films, which are premiered at our big screen showcase events — giving families the chance to see their child’s work come to life in true cinematic style.

Our Tutors

Our screen acting tutors are experienced professionals — working actors and directors with real industry credentials.
They bring first-hand insight from careers spanning major television dramas such as EastEnders and Coronation Street, as well as feature films that have received international theatrical releases. Their experience on both set and stage ensures students are guided by people who understand exactly what it takes to succeed in the industry.

Tailored Training

Students are grouped by age to ensure lessons are engaging, appropriately challenging, and tailored to their level of experience.
Younger students focus on confidence, imagination, and foundational camera skills, while older groups work on advanced screen acting technique, character development, and professional on-set practice.
This structure allows every student to progress at their own pace while learning alongside peers of a similar age and ability.

Casting

True Talent Casting provides a bridge between our on-screen training and real industry experience. We represent selected students for professional work in film, television, and commercial productions — helping them gain valuable insight into life on set. Our young actors have recently appeared in broadcast commercials, including a national campaign for Monzo, showcasing the standard of talent nurtured within our classes. With expert guidance and genuine industry connections, we help students turn their screen training into real opportunities.
